About me

 

A glimpse of who I am: I grew up in a small town in the Italian Alps surrounded by an open-minded family.

My grandfather was a professional painter and sculptor in Rome from the post-war period until the 1990s.

All of my family’s houses have always been filled with artwork by both my grandfather and other international artists, including some famous ones.

My father and his brothers grew up in the Rome of painters and they always helped their artistic father organise exhibitions and to meet other artists, learning painting techniques themselves.

Until 2019, I had never drawn or painted anything.

​​

Then one night I had a dream.

In it, I was buying some paints and a canvas and then saw myself holding these materials.

The next day I made my first drawing. It was not a masterpiece but I had found my courage and have not stopped creating since.

Although painting is not my job, it remains an important part of my life.

​
